About
I am a documentary filmmaker and researcher with experience in direction, production and editing.
I started my career as a journalist, before working as a documentarian for social movements. As part of this work I got the opportunity to travel extensively across India and to observe and learn from diverse communities. This was a valuable education that now closely informs my worldview and work.
My work focuses on themes of memory, gender, class and caste. I am drawn to stories of displacement, resettlement and the imagined worlds formed in the course of collective movement.
I also enjoy dabbling in design and illustrations.
